The scene

What to expect from saunas in Plano

The Plano sauna scene is deliberately narrow. All 3 of the curated venues run infrared-style heat, so the decision is about operator, setting and contrast setup rather than format. That narrowness is part of the appeal: it makes comparison easy and keeps the bar consistent.

1 of the 3 saunas here (33% of the list) runs a cold plunge on site. If the contrast cycle is what you're turning up for, skew your bookings to those venues. The rest are still worth visiting, they just ask you to bring your own cool-down plan.

On price, Plano spreads across the range: 2 at mid-range ($$) and 1 at premium ($$$). The centre of gravity is the mid-range ($$) band.

A few places to start: beem Light Sauna — West Plano: beem's West Plano studio is on Dallas Parkway; SweatHouz — Plano is a private-suite studio on Legacy Drive; and beem Light Sauna — North Richardson calls this studio North Richardson, but it sits on West Plano Parkway inside Plano. That’s the on-ramp. The full ranking sits above.
