Aura Sauna

Forum sauna
€Turku, Finland
A Turku sauna house running since 1926, in the Kurjenmäki bath building since 1981 and in one family throughout. The public sauna opens on Friday afternoons, with separate men's and women's sides and oil-fired stoves. Cupping, peat and other traditional treatments are booked separately.

Herttoniemi Sauna & Pool
€€Helsinki, Finland
A 240 square metre sauna space in the Etola building in Herttoniemi, hired by the group rather than by the seat. The sauna takes ten, beside a 13-metre pool, a lounge, changing rooms, a bar counter and a billiards room. Hire has no fixed start or finish, so an evening can run into the morning.
Pähkinäsauna
€€Vantaa, Finland
A hired sauna suite beneath a Pähkinärinne apartment block in Vantaa, with a 28 square metre pool, showers, a full kitchen and a meeting room with a fireplace. One group takes the whole place, by the hour or as a fixed day or evening block. Everything runs through the booking form, and the space has to be empty by 22:00.
VIP Sauna
€€Helsinki, Finland
Two private saunas on the eighth floor of the Hilton Helsinki Strand, facing the water. A group books one or both for a session of an hour and three quarters, which also covers the hotel pool and gym and comes with towels and robes. Booking is by phone or email.
