About
Gather Sauna House parks its wood-fired trailer saunas beside the Deschutes River in Bend's Riverbend Park. The river is the cold plunge. Hosted public sessions share the bench with up to five others, and groups can book a sauna privately.
Good to know
- Wood-fired heat: softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
- On a river: the cold side of the cycle comes from open running water rather than a tub.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Set in nature, away from the city, so bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
- Mobile operator: the sauna travels, so the location is part of the booking. Check the current site before you arrive.
