A wood-fired sauna at the historic Bective Mill House on the River Boyne — the river runs through the site and is the cold plunge. The most rural Hotbox location, and the one where the cool-down is most spectacular.
Good to know
- On a river — the cold side of the cycle comes from open running water rather than a tub.
- Wood-fired heat — softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
- Set up outdoors — weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
