About
Les Bains d'Ovronnaz sits at 1,342 metres in the Valais Alps. More than 600 square metres of thermal pools face the mountains, across two outdoor pools, an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The spa alongside holds a sauna, a hammam and a Kneipp circuit.
Good to know
- Mountain setting: elevation changes and views are part of what you're paying for.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Pool on site: works alongside the sauna for swim-and-sauna sessions or a longer cool-down between rounds.
- Pairs the sauna with spa services like massage or a scrub, so a session can sit inside a wider visit.
- Set in nature, away from the city, so bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
- Hot tub on site: adds a warm-water option between the sauna and the cold plunge for a longer cycle.
- Restaurant on site, so long sessions are the design. Food is part of the visit rather than a stop on the way home.
- Swimwear sauna: some or all sessions are taken in swimwear, so pack it.
