About

Merska is Rauma's old sea-bathing house on the Fåfänga headland at Otanlahti. Two local workers' organisations keep up three saunas there: a large one, a small one and a log sauna. Public shifts alternate with private hire.

Good to know

  • A historic sauna with heritage worth the trip on its own, whether the building, the tradition, or both.
  • Right on the sea: expect saltwater dips between rounds, cold even in summer.

Hours

  • Tue 15:00-20:00
  • Thu 15:00-20:00

Public shifts in the summer season; the operator's own schedule page is still headed summer 2024, so confirm the current season's times. Hourly and group hire runs at other times, with the spaces let until 23:00.
