SØC Vinterbadeklub
Holstebro, Denmark

About
SØC Vinterbadeklub keeps a small and a large sauna at Søsportens Center, on the shore of Vandkraftssøen in Holstebro. Bathers cool off in the lake or in a cold water tub. The club runs a saunagus programme, and a wilderness tub sits out on the lakeside.
Good to know
- Direct lake access: most visitors plunge straight into the water between sauna rounds.
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Hot tub on site: adds a warm-water option between the sauna and the cold plunge for a longer cycle.
- Runs aufguss sessions: a guided löyly ritual where an attendant fans the steam around the room on a schedule.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
