About
A Finnish-inspired sauna trailer in downtown Valdez, opened by a local family in 2025. Community sessions are booked ahead and run mixed in swimwear, with women-only sessions on the schedule. Groups and families with children book the sauna privately, and sound bath sessions run in the heat.
Good to know
- Mixed sauna: men and women share the room, in every session or on set days.
- Women-only sauna: the venue has a women's side or room, or runs set women-only sessions.
- Swimwear sauna: some or all sessions are taken in swimwear, so pack it.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Wood-fired heat: softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
- Mobile operator: the sauna travels, so the location is part of the booking. Check the current site before you arrive.
