Saunahof Hahn
Kerpen, Germany

About
A naturist sauna park on 25,000 square metres of former estate grounds outside Kerpen, west of Köln. Seven cabins, from a 45°C Dampfbad to an 85°C Felsensauna, run a rolling Aufguss programme beside two heated outdoor pools, a thermal brine bath and an ice fountain. Bathing is FKK throughout, the pools included.
Good to know
- Runs aufguss sessions: a guided löyly ritual where an attendant fans the steam around the room on a schedule.
- Hot tub on site: adds a warm-water option between the sauna and the cold plunge for a longer cycle.
- Set in nature, away from the city, so bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Pool on site: works alongside the sauna for swim-and-sauna sessions or a longer cool-down between rounds.
- Restaurant on site, so long sessions are the design. Food is part of the visit rather than a stop on the way home.
- Pairs the sauna with spa services like massage or a scrub, so a session can sit inside a wider visit.
