Powidz, Poland

Two wood-fired Finnish saunas and two hot tubs sit on the shore of Lake Powidz, each hired privately. There is direct access to the lake for a cold dip. Between rounds there is a small heated lobby with tea, and bookings are taken by phone or message.

Wola Rzędzińska, Poland

A forest sauna house in Wola Rzędzińska, east of Tarnów, run by a married couple who are both saunamistrzowie. They lead seanse saunowe in a large Finnish sauna for small groups who book by phone. A hot tub, a cold-water tub, hammocks and a bonfire fill the breaks between rounds.

Zagnańsk, Poland

Dzika Sauna is a log sauna at the edge of a vast forest in Zagnańsk, with a deep pond for cooling off. It runs open sauna evenings, leaf-whisk sessions with oak and birch witki, and long guided ceremonies with live music. Groups can hire the whole place, and the exact location is sent after booking.

Darłowo, Poland

Forest Natura Spa is a small garden spa in the village of Rusko, just outside Darłowo. A Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin and a carbon sauna share a garden with a jacuzzi and a cold-water tub. Groups of up to four book the whole zone by the session, and massages are offered alongside.

Konstancin-Jeziorna, Poland

A Finnish sauna cabin on the shore of Jeziorko Bielawskie, a small lake in Bielawa near Konstancin-Jeziorna. Saunamistrze lead seanse saunowe with aromatherapy on themed evenings, and the cabin can also be reserved. Between rounds there is the cold lake, a shower and a fire pit by the water.

Nowe Grabie, Poland

Las Saunas is a wood-fired sauna in the forest at Nowe Grabie, near Wołomin. Public Open evenings bring guided seanse saunowe, a hot jacuzzi, a cold-water tub and a campfire. At other times groups hire the cottages and sauna whole.

Turawa, Poland

Leśna Sauna runs a wood-fired cedar sauna wagon in a riverside wood at Turawa, on the Mała Panew. Public sauna evenings include aufguss seanse and birch-whisk ceremonies. Between rounds there is a cold plunge tub, a jacuzzi, a glamping dome and a fire pit under the trees.

Józefów, Poland

Leśna Sauna Józefów is a wooded plot in Józefów with a sauna, a banya and a jacuzzi. Groups can hire it for their own gatherings, with a tipi, a fire pit and Highland cattle on the land. It also hosts sauna evenings with ceremonies, including women-only nights.

Sopot, Poland

Limitless by Autopay runs two saunas among the pines at beach entrance 43 in Sopot, looking out to the Bay of Gdańsk. One is shared and booked by the place, and groups take the other privately. Saunamistrzowie lead aroma seanse, with cold-water tubs, a jacuzzi and the Baltic for cooling off.

Giżycko, Poland

Mazurska Sauna is a wood-fired floating sauna on Lake Boczne, between Rydzewo and Bogaczewo near Giżycko. It has no jetty to the shore, so guests come by their own boat or take the owners' motorboat across. Sessions run from aufguss to Finnish löyly and whisking, and the whole boat can be booked privately.

Marynin, Poland

A forest sauna retreat south-west of Warsaw, with a painted wooden sauna hut, a floating bathhouse and a new house called Dom Słońca. Its speciality is the ceremonial sauna ritual, with leafy whisks (witki) and fascia massage. Visitors book a scheduled event or an unguided sauna session, or hire the whole space.

Dziekanów Polski, Poland

Two wood-fired Finnish saunas on the shore of Lake Dziekanowskie, just outside Łomianki. The lake is a dozen steps away for cooling off between rounds. Book a place in a shared session, or take either sauna for your group.

Pieńki, Poland

A sauna village in the countryside near Radzymin, built around a Lithuanian bania. Its programme runs guided seanse, men's and family sessions, and venik rituals led by Lithuanian sauna masters. It also trains sauna masters through its own academy.

Serock, Poland

A wood-fired sauna in a cabin moored at the end of a jetty on the Narew in Serock. Two large windows look out over the river, and bathers cool off by climbing straight down into it. Sessions are sold per person or for the whole cabin, with saunamistrz ceremonies and birch whisks on request.

Szczecin, Poland

A wood-fired Russian banya on Lake Głębokie, beside the city bathing beach on the north-west edge of Szczecin. A saunamistrz leads open sessions, with birch or oak venik treatments as an option. Bathers cool off in the lake, and a smaller panoramic sauna with a lake view is hired privately.

Lusowo, Poland

Sauna & Balia Lusowo is a lakeside sauna in Lusowo, a few steps from the water with forest around it. Every booking takes the whole site for one group: a Finnish sauna, an open-air balia, a cold plunge and a grill area. A wienik for steaming can be added.

Białystok, Poland

Białystok's municipal sauna stands on the Dojlidy reservoir, between the water and the forest. A large dry sauna looks across the lake through a panoramic window, and a smaller room runs as infrared or dry. Bathers cool off from the jetty in the lake, and led seanse saunowe run through the winter.

Kazimierz Dolny, Poland

Sauna Kazimierz Dolny is a private sauna cabin on a riverbank near Kazimierz Dolny, booked by phone for groups of up to six. A glass wall looks out over the river, and steps lead down to the water. A fire pit and grill sit beside the sauna.

Parole, Poland

An outdoor wood-fired sauna in the woods at Parole, a village south-west of Warsaw. A hot tub, cold-water tubs and a lounge with hammocks sit around the timber sauna cabin. Guests book a place at ceremonies (seanse saunowe) led by saunamistrzowie, some of them for women only.

Lubin, Poland

A barrel-shaped Finnish sauna stands in an apple orchard on a farm in Kłopotów, just outside Lubin. Each booking is private for up to four people, with water to pour on the stones and a wooden tub of cold water outside. Robes, towels and felt hats are provided, and the heated changing room has showers.

Łowyń, Poland

SaunaPark is a small countryside saunarium in Łowyń, near Międzychód. It has a wood-fired Russian banya with saunamistrz-led sessions, a Finnish sauna for two and a steam room. Visits are booked ahead by phone, and massages and a brine hot tub fill the time between rounds.

Leśno, Poland

Saunowy Staw is a sauna garden around a bathing pond at Leśno, in the Kashubian countryside. Its five saunas include a 45-person dry sauna, a steam room and a small Latvian pirts. Saunamistrzowie lead seanse with oils, herbal infusions and birch whisks, and the whole site is textile-free.
