A wood-fired community sauna on the edge of the Union Canal in west Edinburgh, with three cold plunge pools and three cold showers in rotation. Open sessions run alongside guided Saunagus — aufguss with aromatherapy — on Fridays through Sundays.

Good to know

• Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
• Set up outdoors — weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
• Wood-fired heat — softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
• Runs aufguss sessions — a guided löyly ritual where an attendant fans the steam around the room on a schedule.
