A clifftop sauna at Canty Bay near North Berwick, perched above Quarrel Sands with views across the Firth of Forth. 2 saunas — one wood-fired, one electric — a plunge pool, and Drift Coffeehouse next door for afterwards. 30 minutes from Edinburgh but feels properly remote.

Good to know

• Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
• Set up outdoors — weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
• Right on the sea — expect saltwater dips between rounds, cold even in summer.
• Set in nature, away from the city — bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
