About
Hot & Bothy is a community-run sauna in East Lothian. There is a wood-fired bothy, a yurt and a cold plunge. Sessions last 90 minutes and take drop-in visitors as well as group bookings.
Good to know
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Set in nature, away from the city, so bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
- Wood-fired heat: softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
