About

A neighbourhood sauna in Berlin-Friedrichshain, open every afternoon and evening with no reservations. A 90C Finnish sauna, a 60C bio sauna and a steam bath sit alongside a lounge, an outdoor terrace and a snack bar, with a different Aufguss on the hour. Textilfrei throughout, and phones stay in the locker.

Good to know

  • Runs aufguss sessions: a guided löyly ritual where an attendant fans the steam around the room on a schedule.
  • Bar on premises: drinks alongside (or after) the session, and the venue isn't dry like most outdoor sauna setups.
  • Electric stove: quicker to bring up to temperature, easier to control, and what most urban bathhouses run.
  • Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
  • Urban venue: it sits inside the city rather than at a coast or lake. A session fits into a day in town.

Hours

  • Mon-Sun 15:00-24:00

1 Oct to 31 Mar: daily 13:00-24:00. No reservations; mixed sauna every day
