About
Kiln is a cedar sauna that floats at the Gordon Lodge dock on Lake Michigan's North Bay in Baileys Harbor. Sessions stay dockside, and the cool-down is a plunge into the lake. Public sessions are social and seasonal, and groups can book the whole sauna.
Good to know
- Direct lake access: most visitors plunge straight into the water between sauna rounds.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Swimwear sauna: some or all sessions are taken in swimwear, so pack it.
- Bookable as a private session: rent the room for your group rather than sharing with strangers.
