Långeds Allmänna Bastu
Dals Långed, Sweden

About
Långeds Allmänna Bastu stands on the bank of the Dalsland Canal, and has been in regular use since November 2018. Bathers move between the sauna and a dip in Katrineholmshöljen. Dals Långeds Utvecklingsråd runs it, and guests who are not members are welcome at the public sessions.
Good to know
- Wood-fired heat: softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Set in nature, away from the city, so bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
