Best saunas in Sweden
Swedish sauna is a small-town affair, built around the sea and the lake. The kallbadhus is the institution: a cold bathhouse out over the water, with a ladder down from the deck. Inland the bastuflotte takes over, a wood-fired raft on the lake at Rättvik, Storfors or Vänersborg.
