Saunadorf Roetgen Therme
Roetgen, Germany

About
Roetgen Therme runs a seven-room Saunadorf in the Eifel, from a 100 °C Aufguss arena and a 95 °C Jungbrunnen sauna down to a tepidarium and a 45 °C caldarium steam room. Outside there is a 32.5 °C seawater pool, indoor and outdoor whirlpools and a 15 °C cooling pool. One ticket covers sauna and Therme.
Good to know
- Runs aufguss sessions: a guided löyly ritual where an attendant fans the steam around the room on a schedule.
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Hot tub on site: adds a warm-water option between the sauna and the cold plunge for a longer cycle.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Pool on site: works alongside the sauna for swim-and-sauna sessions or a longer cool-down between rounds.
- Restaurant on site, so long sessions are the design. Food is part of the visit rather than a stop on the way home.
- Pairs the sauna with spa services like massage or a scrub, so a session can sit inside a wider visit.
