About
A 50,000 sq ft Brooklyn megabath that bills itself as the largest banya in the US. The setup spans Eastern European banyas, Finnish saunas, Moroccan and Turkish hammams, a Himalayan salt room, snow room, and a contrast-temperature onsen circuit. You move between rituals (aufguss, venik treatments, cold plunge) and then collapse on a chaise by the fireplace lounge or hydrotherapy pool.
Good to know
- Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Hot tub on site — adds a warm-water option between the sauna and the cold plunge for a longer cycle.
- Pool on site — works alongside the sauna for swim-and-sauna sessions or a longer cool-down between rounds.
- Restaurant on site — long sessions are the design; food is part of the visit rather than a stop on the way home.
- Bar on premises — drinks alongside (or after) the session; the venue isn't dry like most outdoor sauna setups.
- Runs aufguss sessions — a guided löyly ritual where an attendant fans the steam around the room on a schedule.
- Bookable as a private session — rent the room for your group rather than sharing with strangers.
- Electric stove — quicker to bring up to temperature, easier to control, and what most urban bathhouses run.
- Urban venue — sits inside the city rather than at a coast or lake, so you can fit a session into a day in town.
