About
Community Sauna Baths' Walthamstow outpost sits on a former industrial plot off Blackhorse Road. Communal saunas, cold plunge pools and hot and cold showers ring a shared relaxation yard. Same community-interest model and accessible pricing as the rest of the group.
Good to know
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Electric stove: quicker to bring up to temperature, easier to control, and what most urban bathhouses run.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Women-only sauna: the venue has a women's side or room, or runs set women-only sessions.
- Mixed sauna: men and women share the room, in every session or on set days.
- Swimwear sauna: some or all sessions are taken in swimwear, so pack it.
- Runs aufguss sessions: a guided löyly ritual where an attendant fans the steam around the room on a schedule.
