Cromarty Community Sauna

Cromarty Community Sauna is a mobile, community-run sauna that relocates monthly along the Cromarty coast. Sessions combine traditional heat exposure with optional plunges into the sea, and are operated as a social enterprise by the local development trust.

Good to know

• Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
• Right on the sea — expect saltwater dips between rounds, cold even in summer.
• Set up outdoors — weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
• Set in nature, away from the city — bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
• Wood-fired heat — softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
