Egotayu is a Nakano ward sento rebuilt in 2021 around a below-ground, earth-toned design. It runs on well water and keeps a sauna, a carbonated-spring bath, an electric bath and a cold plunge.
Good to know
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Electric stove: quicker to bring up to temperature, easier to control, and what most urban bathhouses run.
- Urban venue: it sits inside the city rather than at a coast or lake. A session fits into a day in town.
