A sauna by the sea in the centre of Sortland, set among the old trading piers between Kvitbryggen and Skibsgaarden, looking out over the Sortlandssundet toward the Møysalen peak. It pairs the heat with a plunge into clear Vesterålen water, deep in the Arctic north. A warm room with a dramatic backdrop, and a rare dedicated sauna this far up the coast.

• Right on the sea — expect saltwater dips between rounds, cold even in summer.
• Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
• Electric stove — quicker to bring up to temperature, easier to control, and what most urban bathhouses run.
