RECESS is a Griffintown thermal station built for the contrast ritual — a roughly 50-seat sauna, a cold plunge, and a quiet relaxation lounge, run as 75-minute booked sessions that come either guided or free-flow. Showers, lockers and a tea station make it an in-and-out city reset rather than a destination spa.

• Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
