About
A Baltic-pine sauna with a log stove, on the Murrays Bay waterfront beside the sailing club on Auckland's North Shore. Group sessions of around an hour take up to twelve people through three rounds of heat, with an ice bath, and a sea plunge when conditions allow. Private hire takes the whole sauna, by session or full day.
Good to know
- Wood-fired heat: softer, heavier lΓΆyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
- Right on the sea: expect saltwater dips between rounds, cold even in summer.
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Set in nature, away from the city, so bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
