Tuli Sauna and Plunge

About

Tuli runs a wood-fired Finnish-style sauna with big windows on the bank of the Sugar River at Seven Acre Dairy Company in Paoli. Between rounds, guests take stairs down from a pier into the river. Shared social sessions and private bookings run all year, and the dairy's café sends food down to the sauna dome.

Good to know

• Wood-fired heat: softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
• On a river: the cold side of the cycle comes from open running water rather than a tub.
• Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
• Set in nature, away from the city, so bring a car or plan the transfer in advance.
• Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
• Swimwear sauna: some or all sessions are taken in swimwear, so pack it.
• Mixed sauna: men and women share the room, in every session or on set days.
• Bookable as a private session: rent the room for your group rather than sharing with strangers.
• Restaurant on site, so long sessions are the design. Food is part of the visit rather than a stop on the way home.

Open year-round. The venue says the last weekday social session ends at 21:00. Mon-Tue are private bookings only.
