Alter is a neighbourhood hot-and-cold studio on College Street built around a Finnish sauna scented with essential oils and four-person ice baths. Sessions are either self-led or run as instructor-led classes, with a rest lounge to cool down between rounds. Low-key and community-minded rather than spa-formal.
