About
Moki's South Boston site has three Nordic saunas, one of them in an outdoor courtyard, with cedar barrel cold plunges indoors and out. Shared social sessions include towels and sandals, and walk-ins are taken when there is room. Each sauna can also be booked for a private group, and swimsuits are worn throughout.
Good to know
- Cold plunge available on site: use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Set up outdoors: weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Urban venue: it sits inside the city rather than at a coast or lake. A session fits into a day in town.
- Mixed sauna: men and women share the room, in every session or on set days.
- Swimwear sauna: some or all sessions are taken in swimwear, so pack it.
- Bookable as a private session: rent the room for your group rather than sharing with strangers.
- Wood-fired heat: softer, heavier löyly than electric, and the smell of the stove is part of the room.
