A communal sauna in the heart of Bodø harbour, seating fourteen, with the cold, clear sea a step away for the plunge. Open early till late, it is the heat-and-cold ritual set against the working waterfront of Norway's northern gateway. A good first or last stop on the way to the Lofoten ferries.
Good to know
- Set up outdoors — weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
- Right on the sea — expect saltwater dips between rounds, cold even in summer.
- Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
- Electric stove — quicker to bring up to temperature, easier to control, and what most urban bathhouses run.
