Saunas with aufguss

Aufguss is a guided sauna ritual where an attendant pours scented water onto the stones and fans the steam around the room with a towel, often in choreographed cycles. It's a Central European import that's now part of the program at a small but growing number of urban bathhouses — Bathhouse-brand sites, Banya 5 in Seattle, Archimedes in San Francisco, World Spa in Brooklyn, Timbre Thermal Retreat near Boston.
