A floating sauna in Tromsø's historic harbour, well above the Arctic Circle, pairing a warm room of harbour-facing glass with a plunge straight into the cold sea. Three saunas — including a quiet room and a lavvo-style sauna — look out at Tromsdalstinden and the Arctic Cathedral across the sound. In winter it is the dark-and-aurora version of the ritual; book the drop-in for an hour between heat and open water.

Good to know

• Set up outdoors — weather is part of the experience, so dress for the walk between cabin and water.
• Right on the sea — expect saltwater dips between rounds, cold even in summer.
• Cold plunge available on site — use it between rounds for the classic contrast cycle.
• Electric stove — quicker to bring up to temperature, easier to control, and what most urban bathhouses run.
