This is the signature format of the new sauna wave: a wood-fired barrel or cabin on the tideline, the stove fed between sessions, the sea doing the work a plunge tub does in the city. It combines the two strongest opinions in the atlas — that löyly should come off a log stove, and that the best cold is the kind with a horizon.
